48 island authorities signed the Pact of Islands in Brussels at the Committtee of the Regions on 12 April 2011 in the presence of  Mrs. Bresso, the President of the Committee of the Regions, EU Commissioner Maria Damanaki, Eleni Marianou, the Secretary General of the CPMR, Members of EU Parliament,  EU Commission Officials and island representatives. More
