The Directorate-General for Energy reports to the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands.  It is responsible for developing the Balearic Islands' energy policies.  It safeguards the common interest of citizens of the Balearic Islands in energy matters and ensures that energy is provided in a safe, competitive and sustainable way.
