The Cyprus Energy Agency is a public interest non-profit organisation that was established in 2009 with co-funding from the European Commission under the Intelligent Energy for Europe Programme and the Cyprus Union of Communities. Its main objective is to promote the use of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency and sustainable transport. It also provides technical services, professional training, educational services at schools and other target groups and supports the implementation of European policies at national level.
